Birdseed Wreaths
Basic white or egg bread dough2 eggs whipped with 2 Tbls waterBird seed (millet mix works best)String or ribbon for hanging wreathSeparate bread dough into bread sticks 12" long and about the width of an adult's thumb. Brush with egg mixture and roll firmly into bird seed. Shape into ovals, circles, hearts, or any other fun shapes making sure to pinch and sealing ends well. Place on a baking sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes. When cooled, hang wreaths on branches of trees with string or ribbon.
Suet-seed Oranges
Oranges1 1/2 lb Suet1 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup cracked corn kernalsCut oranges in half and hollow out (use orange insides in a fruit or gelatin salad). Melt suet in saucepan over medim heat. When melted, take off heat and immediately stir in seeds and corn. Fill orange rind bowls, and let chill to set. When set, hang outside for birds.
