Draw from the Jar
Try having each person in your family think of some things that they would like to do and write one thing on each index card. Fold the cards in half and then in half again so that they dont open accidentally. Put them all in a jar, and on a day that you find your family either not able to decide what to together, or you just wanting a suprize, then draw one and do what it says. Here are some of the things to do, in our family jar.
Walk around the Outlet Mall
Go to the Nature Center
Watch the sunset
Play billards (pool)
Go to Chuck-E-Cheese
Walk around the retail mall
Go to another town to walk around
Play at the park
Go to the Zoo
Draw names in the family for secret admirers for 1 week

Eat out at a new restaurant

Visit the local YMCA
Go to a Ghost Town
Go on a photography safari at a local park (Garden of the Gods)
Go to any fast-food Playland
Call everyone on your phone list (let whole family talk to them)
Take a Dinner Train
Bake a new recipe for dinner
Have a family movie sleepover in the living room
Go camping in the back yard
Have an at home spa (paint nails, condition & style hair, etc...)
Have a puppet show
Help a neighbor with yard work
Everyone gets a new(used) book (bookstore, thrift store, library)
Make Pie (any kind) and eat
Make a Scrapbook page for your memory book
Write a family letter and send to everyone in your address book
Have "Tea Time" with scones, finger sandwiches, & petite fours
Share a carton of icecream (just hand out spoons!)
Write "Valentines" for each family member (any day of the year)
Count and roll the change in your family coin jar
