Home Beautiful

Having a beautiful home does not nessecarily mean having a perfect home that belongs in the Stepford community. As much as I admire any woman willing to be a "Stepford" wife, I do not have the willpower for such a feat. Having a beautiful home can mean many things. A home filled with love is all it takes, no matter whether it is a strict organized home run on a SCHEDULE, a quiet and calm home filled with tons of communication, or a noisy home filled with running laughing kids. In my opinion a beautiful home is one that combines a little cleanliness, a little organization, a little fun, a little communication, and a whole lotta love.

Our household seems to work better with a more solid foundation of organization. In order to help us do this I printed a weekly schedule in colorful columns, laminated it, and put it on the refrigerator door for everyone to see. This not only organizes our daily family chores and personal chores, but also our daily family activities, what we cook for dinner, and what the regular plans for the day are. Here are some of the things we have on our plan.

Cook Potatoes with dinner
Play board games during family time
