I believe a combination of good old fashioned values and modern convenience create a well balanced home and family life. Not only are a lot of the tried and true ways of old calming and satisfying, but often quite a bit easier on the pocket book. So.... be prepared, know how to make do, make your own, and make it fun!
Above is a photo of homemade Dishwashing detergent, fabric softener, and laundry detergent. For my first time making these is cost me under $10 and less than an hour total to make about 3/4 of a gallon of each. And, I still have supplies left over for many more batches! Hmmm.. saving money while helping out the environment.... OK!
