Kitchen Witch'n
In the Country Witch's Kitchen...
Herbs & spices are displayed in various shaped glass jars, bread bakes in the oven, hot water simmers on the stovetop for tea, and you are always welcome. In my opinion, the kitchen is the most magical place in the home. Not feeling well? A cup of hot tea will help. Kids home from school? Milk and cookies will do the trick. Family time? Nothing calls the family together or welcomes visitors better than a homemade meal. No drive through food that can compare to homemade food. Whether you spent 5 minutes making sandwiches or two days to create the perfect Thanksgiving feast, your family will know you care. Besides providing comfort and full bellies for loved ones, other important jobs for the "Kitchen Witch" are budgeting food costs with sometimes very limited funds, making sure what is eaten is a healthy array of foods, and keeping a conscious mind about conservation of our natural resources by purchasing products that have little or better yet no packaging waste. Most of these duties can be done by simply making your meals from scratch. I hope to give you ideas and resources to help you. Remember...
"Homemade" is another word for "love".
