Quilting

In case you havent heard, one of my 2009 New Years resolutions is to finish all the quilts I have started, but not finished over the years. I am guessing I will  be able to finish 40-50 lap quilts without purchasing any new fabrics. I plan on keeping track of my progress here... so stay tuned!!!!

Here is a quilt I made when one of my friends had a baby. This was my first attempt at lattice quilting. Very time consuming, but fun and well worth it! I was amazed that it took almost 1 1/2 yards of fabric just for the kitty blocks. Next time I will be a little more aware of choosing a fabric that I can get more focal squares per yard.

Here are 8 quilts that I finished and donated to our FRG. I was lucky to find the prequilted panels for $1 a piece..... so of course I had to buy all 20 of them. A fellow Army wife and her mother offered to put the binding on the other 12 quilts.
